The Golden Ratio Method
Uses the Specialty Coffee Association's golden ratio: Light 1:16.7 (15g/cup), Medium 1:13.9 (18g/cup), Strong 1:11.4 (22g/cup) of coffee to 250ml water per 8oz cup. Brew time, temperature, and grind size recommendations are aligned with SCA brewing guidelines for each method.
Fun Fact: Coffee is the second most traded commodity on Earth after crude oil, and a typical 60kg bag of beans yields about 4,000 individual cups of coffee.
