Crop Factor Visualizer
Calculate equivalent focal lengths, field of view angles, and compare sensor sizes relative to full-frame cameras.

Applications
Used by photographers upgrading from crop sensor to full frame, content creators choosing cameras, and wildlife photographers calculating effective telephoto reach.
The Formulas
Crop Factor = Full Frame Diagonal (43.27mm) / Sensor Diagonal. Equivalent Focal = Actual Focal × Crop Factor. FOV = 2 × arctan(sensor dimension / (2 × focal length)).
Fun Fact: The term 'crop factor' comes from the visual cropping effect smaller sensors have — they capture a smaller area of the lens's image, making focal lengths appear longer!
