Calculation Methodology
This counter calculates the average time between your taps, filtering out minor timing variations to give you an accurate BPM reading. The more you tap, the more precise it gets. Use it to analyze any genre—from slow ballads (60-80 BPM) to driving techno (130-150 BPM) to frantic drum and bass (170+ BPM). Medical students even use similar tools to measure heart rates!
Fun Fact: Genre Guide: Pop/Rock: 100-130 BPM. House: 120-130 BPM. Dubstep: 140 BPM. Drum & Bass: 170-180 BPM. The human heart at rest? About 60-100 BPM!
