VA Combined Rating Math
Ratings are not added (e.g., 50% + 50% is not 100%). Instead, disabilities are sorted largest to smallest. Each subsequent rating is applied to the remaining 'non-disabled' efficiency. The final result is rounded to the nearest 10%.
Fun Fact: The highest possible combined rating is 100%, but because of 'VA Math', getting from 90% to 100% can often require several additional substantial ratings.
