Applications & Usability

What camera took this photo? When and where? Our Exif Reader extracts hidden metadata from your images —shutter speed, ISO, aperture, focal length, GPS coordinates, and more. Essential for photographers analyzing their settings, journalists verifying photo authenticity, or anyone curious about an image's origin!

Calculation Methodology

Exif (Exchangeable Image File Format) embeds data invisibly in JPEGs and TIFFs: camera make/model, exposure settings, creation date, software used, and potentially GPS location. This reader displays it all cleanly—great for photography education, forensic analysis, and understanding your shooting conditions!

Fun Fact: Privacy Warning: Many photos contain GPS coordinates in their Exif data. Before sharing online, consider stripping metadata to protect your location history!
